Party planning guide
Planning a party in Covington
A few things Covington parents ask us before every big weekend.
When to book in Covington
Spring and summer weekends in Covington fill first, especially in May and June when school lets out and birthdays stack up. Book one to two weeks ahead for a Saturday party. For a field day or end-of-school event, book as soon as the date is set.
Because our units are kept here in Covington, a short-notice booking is often still possible. If your date is close, call us and we will tell you what is free.
Parks, schools and churches
Many Covington parties happen away from home: church grounds, school fields, neighborhood common areas and rented pavilions. Check with the venue that inflatables are allowed, ask where the nearest outlet is, and tell us when you book so we plan the right setup. If there is no power, add a generator.
For school and church events we can set up early in the morning so the unit is ready before the first class or service lets out.
Which rental fits your Covington party
For ages 8 and up, or a party with teens and parents who want a turn, pick a 22 foot water slide. For younger kids, or a mixed group, a combo gives you a bounce room and a smaller slide in one unit and works wet or dry. For toddlers and small yards, the Multi Color bounce house is the easy choice. Want something nobody else has done? Add a foam party.
Picking a spot in the yard
Look for a flat area of grass, dirt or concrete, clear of sticks, pine cones, sprinkler heads and pet waste. Each rental's page lists the space it needs; leave a few extra feet on every side for the stakes and for walking around it.
Keep the unit away from overhead power lines, low branches and pools. Our crew needs a clear path from the street to the spot, wide enough to roll the unit through a gate. If you are not sure the gate is wide enough, measure it and call us before you book.
Water slides and combos used wet need a garden hose within reach. Every inflatable needs a regular outlet within about 50 feet. No outlet nearby, or a park with no power? Add a generator when you book.
Keeping it safe and fun
Our crew stakes every unit and checks it before leaving. Keep an adult watching while it is in use, keep riders of similar size together, and send them down the slide one at a time, feet first.
Shoes, glasses, sharp toys and silly string stay off the inflatable. In heavy rain, lightning or strong wind, everyone comes off until the weather passes. If the forecast looks bad before delivery, call us and we will work out the best option with you.
